moments

I write so many moments on my heart, yet I can only imagine in years to come only so many will stay with me. With this realization I am dusting off the camera and hoping to have more pictures to share in the coming months. I did however, managed to pull out the phone camera on occasion as we've wrapped the end of our (not so) winter.

Bend winter vacation

Our trip to Bend was full of fun and winter activity. The boys had an amazing time with their cousins, skiing, rock climbing, sledding, nightly scavenger hunts with Papa, lots of food...what more could a boy want (or mom and dad)!

adventures and school

Since the new year we've had several fun adventures to the beach, the mountains and Joshua tree. In school the boys finished a space unit, started a study on water science, are working their way through the Bible, and building on their reading and writing. Sean and I are busy trying to keep up with the activity. 

holidays

Now that the holidays are wrapped up and we are back to routine I can reflect and say they were pretty GREAT. Between the all the birthday events and our ten year anniversary, of which I got incredibly spoiled, we fit in a lot of "Christmas" southern California style... decorated in flip flops, drank hot cocoa on the coldest day, drove around to look at Christmas lights, read books around a fire, made cookies and gingerbread houses and created many lasting memories.
