here's to the best five years

Not too long before the adventures of Ben and Isak were the adventures of Cory and Chelsea. When we first met six and a half years ago we were traveling through Europe with packs on our backs. Not much has changed... we still get to do some traveling today, although the packs have been exchanged for strollers and roller bags.

After meeting we spent the following months writing letters to each other and quickly falling in love. Not much has changed... we still write some to each other today, although usually in the form of texts..."when will you be home for dinner?" or "you'll never guess what Isak just did!"

We spent the following year dreaming of grand adventures, climbing rocks and mountains and falling deeper in love. Not much has changed... we still climb some today, although it now consists of climbing jungle gyms and playgrounds.

Five years ago tomorrow we made a promise to spend the rest of life's adventures together. Much and little has changed since then... we love each other as much as ever, but more than we ever thought possible. I'm looking forward to all the changes the next five and fifty years will bring!
