hospital stay

I love to watch my boys sleep.  I know; it is one of those creepy mom things.  I must admit though that after this past week it is so nice to see Ben awake, smiling and laughing.  I should have known something was up when he first fell asleep at the dinner table last Sunday.  

By Tuesday we couldn’t keep him awake for more than a few minutes at a time.  His pediatrician confirmed that he and Levi, who had also been sick, both had RSV and that Ben’s O2 saturation was low enough he needed to be admitted to the hospital.  

After two nights at Children’s his levels were high enough that he was able to come home.  We are ever so grateful for healthy kiddos and have the utmost sympathy for parents with chronically ill children.
