Last week we began a new school year, Isak in first grade, Ben in kindergarten and Levi preschool. And while I know it will take a little time to get used to schooling at home, I do know without a doubt after our first week that we are going to have so much fun studying together, exploring God's creation, challenging ourselves, and discovering joy in learning.
Some of the highlights of our first week... we reviewed some phonics, practiced our handwriting, learned about and grew mushrooms, read about snails and made a mollusk mansion with snails collected on a hike, saw bee parts under microscope, had a math lesson with cooking, started a new devotional and made scrolls with a new memory verse.
